On September 10th  2014 my life had changed without any warning.  That was the day that after a routine blood test, my doctor called to send me to the ER right away.  After a few tests it was determined that I had Acute Myeloid Leukemia a fast moving, aggressive blood cancer that had to be treated immediately. After 4 weeks at St. Francis in Hartford, CT, I achieved remission. I then followed up with 3 weeks at Dana Farber Cancer Institute for a stem cell transplant.  My donor…my brother Brian…gave me another chance at life. 

After my treatment, Team John was created with a mission to raise funds to fund stem cell research and help families at DFCI with the financial burden that comes with cancer.  

This Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament supports lifesaving work at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Tournament format will be a scramble with registration beginning at 8:30 am, Putting Contest at 9:30 am with a shotgun start at 10:30 am.  Following golf, dinner will be served at 5 pm.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place along with Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin Putting Contests and more!
